To use the mold with fondant:
- Firmly press red fondant into mold and remove
- Use an edible color pen or non-toxic marker and draw a black line along the eye lines
- Press a small dab of white fondant into the eye section of the mold
- Remove, clean its shape, and use a dab of shortening to adhere the white eye in place
